If a user has forgotten their password, their database administrator is able to reset their password for them. Note: Resetting a user password can only be done by a user with Administrative access. If you are a user who needs a password reset, please contact your Toolbox Administrator to reset your password. NUWS security policy prohibits NUWS personnel from from resetting user passwords.
From the logon page, launch the Toolbox Users application
When the Users screen comes up, choose the name of the username that needs to be reset and choose the Set Password button found on the bottom left of the screen
Once you have selected the Set Password button, a screen will come up, asking you to enter a new password for the user
The password you create will be a temporary one that the user will need to change the first time that they log in.
