How to request a report modification

Although there are over 500 different reports to choose from in Organizer’s Toolbox, it’s possible that existing reports do not meet the needs of your campaign. Please follow the guidelines and process below to submit a request for a new report.

    1. Use the Report Finder and Sample Reports to find a report that meets as many of the needs as possible for your purposes (including fields and layout)

    2. Send an email to us with the subject “Report modification request” along with the name of the report you’d like modified.  For example, if you want a modification to Person List 005 send the message “Report Modification Request: Person List 005.”

    3. In the text of your message, enumerate with as much detail as possible which fields you want added and/or which fields you want removed. 

      Remove: Job Class, Department, Shift
      Add: Actual Contributions, Bargaining Unit

    4. Indicate where on the sample sheet you’d like the new fields to go.

    5. Attach a sample of a mock-up of the new report (if possible)

    6. Once we receive the Report Modification Request we will review it and may contact you if we require more details.

NUWS performs Report Modifications on Thursdays and releases new reports the following day (Friday).  The deadline to have a report modified the same week it is requested is Wednesday at 3 p.m. (Pacific Time).  If we receive a report request after that time the new report will be created and released the following week. Therefore it is important to get new report requests submitted as early in the week as possible.
