Before you can assign someone to an action, you need to setup the action. In this example, you will be creating an action of a Political Lobby Day.
To create a new Action, click the “Actions” button in the Module list.

Next click the “New Action” button at the bottom of the window

Enter the Action Name, Date, and Action Type. If you don’t see a good description of the type of Action in the list in the drop-down menu, you can always add a custom Action Type by clicking on the Dot Box and entering a new Action Type.

Understanding Metrics
Metrics is a feature that will help you set and achieve goals related to actions. In this example, the union has set a goal of visiting 30 Senators and 10 Assembly Members. Later when you add individuals who participated in a particular action, you can record the number of Senators and Assemblypersons the person actually visited.
