Field Location Changes in OT7
PRINTThe addition of multiple jobs to Organizer’s Toolbox has brought about changes in the location of some data fields. They include Authorization:
- Card Fields
- Unit Status fields
- Employer List Fields
Authorization Card Fields
The Authorization Card Signed, Authorization Card Date Signed and Authorization Date Received fields have been moved from the Organize to the Job tab, allowing for the possibility that an individual person record may sign (or not sign) an authorization card for each job that they have.
Unit Status
The Unit Status information has been moved to the Job tab from the Organize Tab to accommodate the possibility of different unit statuses for different jobs. Also note that Unit Status is now a composite of both Job Terminated and Exclude from Unit. Any Person is considered In Unit for a Project if they have a Job within the Project that has not been Terminated or Excluded.
Employer List
The Employer list field on the Elections tab has moved, along with a reorientation of the whole form, to be included with other Election fields.
Prior to Organizer’s Toolbox 7, the Employer List field was not Election specific and could not be set per Election. In Toolbox Version 7, the field is specific to each election that a person is linked to, allowing information from each election to be kept in tact and no longer needs to be overwritten or cleared out from election to election.
