Election Schedule

The Election Module has been updated with some cosmetic modifications and we’ve also added a new field - Election Schedule.

This customizable new field is intended to allow Organizers to document the exact time period workers will be onsite during an election.  This is particularly useful for Healthcare work environments and multi-day elections.  Here are a few examples of how a campaign may use this field:

  • A worker’s regular schedule may be swing shift (2 p.m.-11p.m.) but on the day of the election they may have traded shifts with a coworker.
  • an on-call worker
  • in a facility with rotating shifts a worker’s schedule may change every couple weeks
  • in multi-day election a worker may work during the day on the first day of the election but swing or night shift on the second day

In each of these cases the Election Schedule field can be used by an Organizer to identify the exact time period a given worker is expected to be onsite.  In the case of a multi-day election the campaign may wish to set up a combination of schedules to accurately reflect possible times a worker may be onsite:
